Care
- Full sunlight. For indoor, maybe 8 hours a day.
- Mediteranean native. Likes hot and arid climate. Temperature 15-27 C indoor and minimum humidity.
- Prefer sandy/loamy soil rather than moist. Even can grow in rocky gravel.
- Drought resistant. Water only occasionally. Even every other week or a month. Wait until soil is completly dry, then water to saturation. Then wait until dry again. Don't worry if forgot extra a few days before watering after it dries. Soil too moist also can cause root rot.
- Prefers soil that lacks nutrients. Fertilize in spring/growing season, just once, with diluted all-purpose fertilizer (half-strength). Too much fertilizer will indeed promote foliage grow, but can dilute the fragrants oil
- Harvest any time, even after flowering.
- Moving outdoor can be done after temperature steady above 15C. Move inside again when temperature start going under 15C.
