Simple lettuce salad with Indonesia inspired turmeric-coriander marinated tofu and mushroom.
Ingredients for 2:
- Chunks:
- 0.5 block extra firm tofu, sliced
- 1.5 box white mushroom, sliced
- Anything else like meat, chicken
- Marinade:
- 0.25 tsp turmeric powder
- 0.75-1 tsp ground coriander
- about 1 tsp salt
- water
- To fry:
- Salad:
- 1 head romaine lettuce
- salt
- pepper
Directions:
- Tofu and mushroom:
- Make the mariande.
- Slice up tofu, marinade.
- Wash and slice up mushroom.
- Heat up oil and butter, toss dry tofu and stir fry.
- Marinade the mushroom using the same mix while browning tofu a little bit, maybe 5 minutes.
- Add mushroom with the marinade mix to the pan. Boil an reduce a little bit.
- After sometimes, transfer tofu and mushroom to a boil, remove excess marinade from the pan.
- Heat up butter and oil, add back the tofu and mushroom and stir fry until done.
- Salad:
- Cut up and wash lettuce, drain well.
- Toss with salt and pepper.
