  • March
    • 11: Harrison and Olivia spring 2022 gardening season start now. I picked strawberry, cherry tomato, and pumpkin seeds for them. Olivia did prepare the tray for previous day's lemon basil seeds, but this one is prepared by me. The cherry tomato seeds are from McKenzie. Less than 20 seeds in the package, planted all. Planted in Jiffy small pots with starter soil mixed with vermiculite.
    • 17: Sprouts observed
    • 25: Watered thoroughly in preparation of 10 days holiday.
  • April
    • 3: Back from holiday, seedlings 12 cm look very good and thriving.
    • 4: Transefered to the railing long pot. Keep indoor when cold, outdoor when warm.
    • 5: Warm day, temperature above 10 °C. Put outside during warm hours. Will put back inside in the evening.
    • 7: Got snapped in the wind outside. Only 2 not bent
    • 8: many dead, the rest are bent. 3 rescued and transferred into small individual pots. Will replant.
    • 9: Purchase same seeds and plant in 6 jiffy pots. Just in case the first batch fail.
  • May
    • 6: Transferred to large red pot. Combination of 3: Trailing cherry tomatoes on the front, mid size cucumber in the mean, bean poles at the back.
    • 17: Spider mites. Washed leaves of suspected invested plants including tomatoes.
    • 21: Flower buds
    • 27: Buds blooming
  • June
    • 1: the first tomato plant (Original one planted by kids) flowers profusely. Extra polination aided by electric toothbrush, eventhough it's actually self-polinating flowers.
    • 6: First 3 fruits visible!

Care
