- 30 Dec 2021: Seeds (McKenzie) planted in new soil (MiracleGro potting mix), with rocks at the bottom of the pot. Covered in paper towel to avoid fungus gnat investation.
- 11 January 2022: Seedling started coming out few days ago. They are now up to 4 cm.
- 16 January: Sun is out strongly today and visible really clearly on the soil surface is fine webbing. Very fine, but everywhere. Spider mites suspected. The pot used could be previously used for Kordana rose that was invested with persistent spider mites that last even with surface washing. Not 100% sure, but the rose's pot was similar looking. Soil was new and typically pot is washed carefully with soap and brushed too. It might have been not too thorough or missed out.
- 16 January: Sacrificed and replanted. Pot is washed thoroughly with soap and hot water. All bottom rocks and soil are new. 13 holes of seeds each with 2-3 seeds (that's all we have left) are planted.
- 1 Feb: Seedlings already emerged and already 4-5 cm. So fast. Soil covered with small white rocks.
- 14 Mar: pinched
- 25 Mar: Watered thoroughly in preparation of 10 days holiday.
- 3 Apr: Back from holiday, looking good.
- 9 May: tranferred to railing container.
