Rosemary

Mediterranean herb with needle like foliage.Suited better for outdoor because it can grow large. So let's see how it goes.

Planted from seeds (McKenzie)

1 Jan 2022: Seeds planted (McKenzie).
23 Jan: Start sprouting. Just a few so far.
7 Feb: by now, still only 4 grows. It should have been grown between 7-28 days. So probably this is it. The 3 transplanted into a small clay pot. Hopefully they survive.
13 Feb: Transplanting looks succesful for all 4.
25 Mar: Watered thoroughly in preparation of 10 days holiday.
3 Apr: Back from holiday, seedlings look dying. Terminated a few days later.

Wide temperature range, 10-27 is good. Even 4 will probably be okay.
Humidity is a little bit finicky. Doesn't like bone dry air, but prone to powdery mildew in high humidity. If the air is dry, try putting it on tray with water and pebbles.
Watering is also tricky. Keep it in the dryer side since it's more easily to be killed by too much water than too little water. Water when the top soil is dry, but don't let soil dry out completely.Rosemary likes to absorb moisture from the air, so water mist it every 10 days
Good air circulation is needed to prevent powdery mildew. Nothing to do in dry winter air though.
Fertilize in the beginning of growing season amd them every month using liquid fertilize to the fall.r
Frequent harvesting and pruning will keep the plants healthy and bushy.
