Star flower, star cluster, or Egyptian Star Cluster Plant. Tropical import, grow wild in East Africa. Beatiful pink small flowers with five petals and sweet delicious nectars. Reminding me of bunga soka (it was red) we enjoyed sucking the nectar back in Indonesia when we were kids. Last year kids enjoyed sucking nectar from the red penta (2) we got. It did have aphids investation nearly the end, kids were good in avoiding them.
Purchased 12 June 2022 with 1 bloom head starts to bloom, and many very young bloom heads

- 13: Transferred to pumpkin container. Originally thought of sunflower container. However it was too shalow.
Care
- Plenty of water: about wrung-out sponge wetness. Tolerate dry conditions, but drought stressed ones are susceptible to spider mites infestations. Don't water overhear, might cause blown spot on the foliage. Doesn't look nice.
- Plenty of sunshine, heat, and humidity.
- Mildly acidic soil, about pH 6.0.
- Fertilize once a month with flower fertilizer.

- Pinching off stem ends when young
- Bring indoor in winter. Temperature needs to be above 18.
