Kemangi
Kemangi is the type of basil that is used in Indonesian cuisine, as a raw side (lalap) and often acommpany sambal. It's also called lemon basil or Thai lemon basil. It's also used in Thai and Middle Eastern cuisines.

- 7 Apr: sow in 3 large round jiffy pot.
- 16 May: thriving.
- 17 May: Re. Spider mites. Washed leaves of suspected invested plants. Basil, kemangi, mini rose, bunnytails, pole beans, cucumber, tomatoes, and pumpkin. Removed a lot of yellowing leaves. Cilantro thrown away since it's just more practical to restart.

- 4 Apr: New batch started in 3 round jiffy pots.
- 7 Apr: discarded because the whole tray starts to get moldy.
Kemangi 1
- 11 Mar 2022: Sow. McKenzie seeds. Jiffy cups, starting soil mixed with vermiculite.
- 17 Mar: Sprouts observed.
- 25 Mar: Watered thoroughly in preparation of 10 days holiday.
- 3 Apr: Back from holiday, seedlings dead.
- 4 Apr: Let go.
Care
- Full to partial sun
- Average watering, don't let dormancy
- Pinch to make it less leggy and promote growth.
