Candytuft
Native to Mediterannean, flowering evergreen to perennial from mistard family. Semi-evergreen in our cold climate of zone 5. Beautiful flowers but with unpleasant scent.

- December
- 30: Seeds (McKenzie) planted in new soil (MiracleGro potting mix), with rocks at the bottom of the pot. Covered in paper towel to avoid fungus gnat investation.
Journal 2022
- January
- 11: Seedling started coming out few days ago. They are now ranging from 1 to 4 cm height, with 2 cm average.
- 23: 5 cm tall
- March
- 12:Very leggy. Fence support added.
- 14: pinched
- 25: Watered thoroughly in preparation of 10 days holiday.
- April
- 3: Back from holiday, plant looks a little bit wilted, but perked up right away after watering.
- May
- 9 May: tranferred to railing container. Together with alyssum.
- Mid: Sow 6 jiffies
- 27: Recently sown one emerged.
- Late: Fully bloom, white. Very thriving and beautiful.
- June
- 1: Recently sown batch is terminated due to lack of space, slow growth compare to some others, and difficulties in transferring.
- 17: Seeds are observed. Look like layered crown.
- 24: Pruned back quite much.
