I think it is a Ferocactus hamatacanthus from the barrel cactus family.

Summer 2021 - now

Journal

• Summer 2021: Cactus chose by Harrison.
• 15 Mar 2022: Stil about the same size.
• 25 Mar: Watered thoroughly in preparation of 10 days holiday.
• 3 Apr: Back from holiday, plant looks fine.
• 21 June: Transferred to a slightly smaller pot but with drainage holes.
• Summer: Transferred to a larger pot.
