Bellflower
Campanula is latin for little bell. Named for its bell shaped flowers. Get Mee variety is blooming from July to September. Versatile for ground cover, thrives in tight spaces, rock garden, and hanging baskets. Easy to care for, grow fast, and will spread.
Since May 2022
Purchased 2 from Home Depot, 12 May 2022. Young, low and wide, full of purple blooms, in 10 cm containers.

- 12: Purchased.
- 14: Transferred to railing container with candytufts
- 18: Plants look very struggling. All flowers are spent already since a few days ago. Stems are extremely prone to detachment. So many drying to string stems that is not that easy to remove and attempt causing more healthy stems got detached. Not helping maybe, many literature mentioning deadhead should be done by cutting to the stem base. If I remove all spent flowers this way, it will leave a bare middle stump.

- 5: Replaced with kordana roses. Bellflower is moved to white indoor porcelain container. "Hospitalized".
- 10: Thriving and budding again. Maybe it likes indoor better.
- 12-13: pruned some more that it is not dying anymore.
- 14: several blooms.
Care
- Fertilizing: mid spring, all-purpose fertilizer bloom
- Deadhead dead and dying blooms.
